If we do not measure,
we guess.
Traffic, clicks and impressions tell only part of the story. We build the tracking setup so we can see what people do and what actually produces results for the business.
Let’s see what to measure →We do not track everything
just because we can.
We start with the business objectives and define the actions that actually matter. A button click can be useful, but a submitted form, a phone call, a booking or an order is much closer to a real result.
The objective
What we want to achieve: leads, bookings, sales, calls or other relevant actions.
The events
We define which behaviours need to be tracked in order to understand the user journey.
The conversions
We separate useful interactions from the actions that actually represent a business result.
What do people do
after they arrive on the website?
Tools are useful
only when the data is meaningful.
The technical setup is only the beginning. What matters is that the tools work together and help us answer real questions about the business.
Traffic, behaviour, events and conversions.
Implementation and management of tags and events.
Queries, impressions, clicks and organic visibility.
Heatmaps, recordings and clues about the real user experience.
“We have Analytics installed”
does not mean we have answers.
A dashboard full of numbers is not the goal. Data should help us understand what works, where users drop off and what is worth changing.
We do not look only
at the final action.
A user may arrive from Google, return through an ad, read two pages and only then submit a form. We track the journey well enough to understand the role of each channel and where problems appear.
Fewer vanity metrics.
More context.
Conversions
Leads, bookings, orders and actions with real value.
Cost & efficiency
Which sources and campaigns contribute to results, and at what cost.
Experience
Where people navigate, where they drop off and what they use.
Measurement starts
with the right question.
Understand
What the business needs to produce.
Define
The relevant events and conversions.
Set up
GA4, GTM and the other tools.
Test
We verify that the data is being collected correctly.
Analyse
We look for patterns, problems and opportunities.
Adjust
We use the data to inform the next decision.
Frequently asked questions.
I already have Google Analytics. Do I still need tracking?
It depends on the current setup. Having GA4 installed does not automatically mean that the important events and conversions are being tracked correctly.
What is Google Tag Manager?
It is a system that lets us manage and implement tags and events without editing the website code every time. The setup still needs to be built around what we actually want to measure.
Which conversions can we track?
Submitted forms, calls, emails, WhatsApp clicks, bookings, orders and other actions relevant to the business objectives.
Can you audit an existing implementation?
Yes. We can audit the existing setup and check whether the important data is being collected and reported correctly.
Can analytics tell me why users are not converting?
Not always on its own. We combine quantitative data with behavioural information, for example from Clarity, and with analysis of the pages and the user journey.
Measurement becomes useful
when it changes decisions.
See how analytics and tracking are part of a digital system built around business objectives.
If we do not know what is happening,
we cannot decide what to do next.
We start with the business objectives and build the measurement setup around them.
