The challenge

An author website should be more than a showcase for a single book.
It should create a connection between the author, her stories and her readers.

For Maria Lazar, the objective was to create a digital space of her own, with the author as the starting point and her books and content naturally integrated into the same identity.

We started with who Maria is, what she wants to communicate and how her work should be presented. The design and structure were built around the person and her real materials — not the other way round.

What we built

More than a presentation page.
A digital space of the author’s own.

The website brings the author’s identity, books, content and the foundations for future online development into one coherent experience.

01 · Strategy

We started with the author, not a template

The structure was shaped around Maria’s story, her books and how she wants to be discovered and perceived online.

02 · Website

Website built from scratch

We created an owned, flexible digital presence that can evolve over time, where information and visual elements work together without competing with the author’s personality.

03 · Content & identity

Authenticity remained part of the design

The photographs and personal story were integrated so the website feels genuinely representative of Maria, without turning the author into a decorative element.

04 · Visibility

A foundation for SEO and content

The structure supports organic growth through relevant pages and content, backed by measurement and continuous optimisation.

How we approach the project

For a personal brand, the technology should stay in the background.
The person should remain recognisable.

The website, structure, SEO and content are tools. Their role is to make it easier to discover and understand who the author is and what she creates.

For Maria Lazar, we therefore focused on consistency between voice, imagery, books and the website experience, while keeping enough flexibility for future projects.

What changed

From separate materials and channels to a space of her own.
A website that can grow with the author.

Maria Lazar now has her own digital foundation where she can present her story, books and projects in a coherent environment she controls.

An owned website

A digital space built around the author rather than a third-party platform.

Consistent identity

Her story, imagery and books are presented within the same visual direction.

Clear structure

Readers can discover the author and her projects more easily.

A foundation for SEO

The website can build organic visibility as relevant content is developed.

Measurement

The digital presence can be monitored and refined using data.

Room for future projects

The structure can accommodate new books and initiatives without rebuilding the entire website.

Services used in the project

We built the digital infrastructure,
without losing the person behind the brand.
